The first FC Nuremberg, (short: 1 FCN or the club), is a traditionalGerman football club based in Nuremberg, on 4 Mai wasestablished in 1900th The club colors are red and white, thetraditional colors of burgundy and black on the other hand, wherehe runs up since the 2007/08 season again. The association has10 792 members at today’s level. The first FC Nuremberg until 1995 was also a sports club. Since then, the men’s football department, an independent organization under the old name firstFC Nürnberg VfL e. V., the first FCN rooftop club is affiliated. Allother club departments were transformed into independent associations that are organized in the umbrella association and therefore had to set new club name: Box-Club 1 FC Nuremberg, 1FC Nuremberg, women’s and girls’ soccer, 1 FC NürnbergHandball 2009, chess, hockey, first FCN roller and ice, 1 FCNswimming, first FCN Ski and Tennis Club 1 FC Nuremberg. The best known, however, is the football section of the club with 8000members, especially the senior team. Until 1987 the club was over 60 years of German soccer’s most successful long until he wasnine championships with the club until 1987, over 60 long years of German record football champion, Bayern Munich has been replaced before. Since the mid-1980s, the FCN is a “lift team”known: It is not possible the club is eager to establish a league, buthe gets off and on repeatedly. Since the summer of 2009 plays thefirst FC Nurnberg in the Bundesliga again.The football home games are played in the former Franks Stadium, which is now named after the product of a sponsor’s Easy CreditStadium.
